Hybrid Runewords Need to Be Deleted

[:1]Recently certain runewords known as "Hybrids" have been released by itemshops. I'm sure blizzard is aware of this but nothing has been done to remove them or stop them from being sold. They drastically change the game especially for the LLD community. They are so overpowered they virtually overpower some of the current best characters that have taken people years to build. People can use their credit card and for a hundred dollars make an incredibly overpowered character, ruining it for the people who have been legitimately LLDing for years. If nothing is done about this I am aware that this will cause many people to quit diablo altogether, ruining it for people who have been enjoying this game for the last ten years. I would like to suggest that blizzard does something about this before the game is run by the itemshops rather than blizzard itself. Please, please, please get rid of these hacked items and save the game for the people who enjoy playing it for what it is without cheating. If your stance on people using hacks is to ban their cd key and delete their account, I do not see how using hacked items shouldn't be met with the same punishment, or close to it. Thank you for taking the time to consider my suggestion.

http://lewt.com/diablo-2/east-non-ladder/runewords-hybrid/|||I think its pretty safe to say that blizzard is way past giving a #**@ about Diablo 2.|||Does anyone actually know how they were created...? Is it an exploit, or did these things somehow get accidentally created?|||Considering itemshops are actively making and selling them I assume its an exploit.|||These things are usually accidental at first, like trying to re-roll the lower rune word when the server crashes or something...then the stats remain for some odd reason. Once bugged, they just dupe them...it's unfortunate that the original bugged item got into the wrong hands.|||It wasn't an accident, the site is making numerous ones.|||

I've heard some theories that say that these types of items are being "imported" (made in Single-Player, Used on Open Battle.net, transfered to Closed Battle.net via some method). Since these items have an item code that is of a normal item, Battle.net does not "poof" them.

Yeah, I saw the same after doing some research, but I don't believe that is the case. I believe there is some packet manipulation going on here. Either that, or they're exploiting the overflow on saved data.|||Exactly, they ruin an entire way of dueling for legit llders for the good of shoppers with credit cards.|||

Unfortunately, the majority of hybrid runewords come from "item stores" that are owned and regulated by Blizzard Entertainment. There will never be an end to the creation and distribution of "hybrid runewords" unless people stop buying them; and unfortunately, people buy them. It's a clever but selfish way of introducing new items to Diablo II. Regardless of what you believe, Blizzard will never stop running these stores, making these hybrid runewords, and spamming games until people stop paying these stores.
