Q u o t e:
With Drac's and Atma's can i proc both amp damage and life tap at the same time, or would one cancel the other?
They will cancel each other out.|||AI effects sometimes stay, but you cannot make two nonAI-influencing curses stack.
Howl, or Terror, Monster flee, and Confuse graphical cues can be overridden, even though the AI will continue running or being confused.
Amp and life tap don't influence the AI directly. You won't get both happening on a hit. They are applied in a particular order if they proc on the same strike...though I don't know exactly how that is chosen.|||
Q u o t e:
It is likely the Index IDs of the states or Skills to determine.
But your guess is as good as mine.
That was my guess. Somehow you do have to decide what happens if curses are enacted on the same frame. I first thought about this with two people.
Say my mutt that uses a Reaper's Toll procs decrepify on the same frame that my Exile-wearing paladin side kick (yes, he is the side kick...) procs life tap, how would you choose what curse the monster actually is affected by? It should be that it sees both effects and then chooses between them, either state order, or randomization. (It has to choose...curses override each other, besides attract and the that would just be a no override flag). I assume coders would prefer the former.
|||Both curses are cast, but whichever is cast second will overwrite whichever was cast first. Casting order is determined by the order in which the items are equipped: last equipped, last cast.
