What did i do wrong?

not only am i hella bummed about this
but it was my first runeword ever made cause i could never find HRs
and i lost 4 HRs now
is there anything I can do????

Was it ladder or nonladder
was it in an inferior cryptic axe cracked, etc.|||The quality of the item shouldnt matter. I've made Spirit into a low quality crystal sword and it worked. ONly difference was the durability was 6 of 6.|||Must be Ladder - if you still want the ax - use a Hel-la rune and the cube to undo the socs - but runes gone - sorry for your loss.
