Question about Bartuc

What is his deal. A few times now I've had 30 on BO and Shout, 245 stat points in vitality, maxed resistances, cold and fire absord and he turns around and kills me faster than I can hit a full rejuvenation potion. What's he got and how do I prevent this?|||Beside being a Lightning Enchanted Super Unique with increased fire damage, 2 additional random modifiers and a bunch of minions who all keep casting the 1.13 speed and damage improved Hydra spell? Nothing else.
Break up the pack with Howl and see if it's really Bartuc alone who's the troublemaker.|||There is certainly something else. In a 8 player hell run I can stand there and get hit by everything and my health bubble doesn't even flinch, including bartuc and his minions and hydra. It's one out of maybe 300-400 runs that this happens and it is instant death for me. I usually war cry all the monions and bash away at the bosses with con, but when this happens there isn't even time to war cry. I am dead in a snap.|||

|||i wasn't amped so it could be this spectal damage. where can i learn about this type of damage? is it a character class damage? is there a defense against it?
