Temporary Restriction Lasts How Long?

I was reading other topics on this and they said up to 12 hours or so. I've been temporarily restricted from only USEast since 9:30 or 10:00 AM yesterday for completely no reason. All I keep getting is "Unable to connect to Battle.net."
I joined 2 games to MF. I was still online, never got booted off or anything and was able to talk to friends via /f m. Then randomly when I leave game, BAM, I'm kicked off Battle.net and have not been able to connect to USEast for almost 24 hours now. Every other realm is fine, just USEast.
Now I remember hearing realm downs when they existed as that could last up to what..48 hours? But how exactly long does a temporary restrict last? It's slightly annoying as hell when you don't leave games or anything too fast and just randomly get kicked off. :/

|||Ah, thank you. Sadly, I never did any of those and I got randomly booted off :/ This has happened many times before but they've never lasted this long. But at least I know how long it can last now.
