Admin help needed account stolen

[:1]Basicly i was sent here and told to talk to an admin about getting their help recovering my stolen account.
I was playing d2 us east on my StormBringer account, suddenly i get a server down, i think ok um i will try in a few minutes.... I come back to log into my account and supposedly my password no longer works. I go to do a password recovery.. I get no email.. I register all of my accounts so basicly i want to know why my account suddenly disapears when i finally get it uber godly and full of items that are super godly.. Its not because of viruses.. its not because of sharing my personal info.. On top of that i have had old keys suddenly start having someone else logged onto them.. ... Worst of all i went to and bought a new chest for d2 at walmart and someone else has it registered in their name... Its hard to not question whats going on.. someone has obviously managed to hack blizzards keys be they new or old.. but right now i simply want an admin to help me get my account back.. If need be since i now know to come here i can post images of every character i own as proof that I own and created the StormBringer account not someone else and i want ALL of my items i busted my rear to earn back with it as well as my runes.. I didnt give my account away or share my info nor do i have 3rd party programs on my pc.. This is on Blizzard not me|||You said you did account recovery and didn't receive an e-mail, did you check your spam mail?
As to your last sentence, account security is NEVER on Blizzard, it is 100% on your end and they give advice and tips on how to prevent occurrences such as this. If you purchased a key at Walmart and it says it's already being used, then it's likely someone stole the code from inside the box while in the store, I would suggest getting a refund. I would also highly recommend doing an anti-virus check, along with malware and spyware scans.

|||I find it odd and more than a bit annoying that i am directed by BLIZZARD staff here then get rebuffed for doing as told.. So it would be nice to know where to actually go. As to security for server info and accounts being hacked, forced or whatever i know that this happens all of the time. People that dont go to sites and just play d2 get hacked daily and none of us share our info I dont see how ANYONE has the audacity to put the blame on a player and say a company isnt or shouldnt be held responsible for the security of a game the SELL daily. just sayin yanno? Then theres the mysterious we wont replace lost items if your account is hacked and you miraculously do get the account back...
I have played d2 for years since diablo came out then d2 then LOD please dont insult my intelligence with saying d2 cant be hacked nor say its my fault my account got stolen..
Also, if you are indead a Mod/Admin here state that you are in the beginning of your comment and learn to be a LOT more polite..

Ah, I see now. Since Diablo 2 is an older game the direct support for account and detail recovery has been moved to the classic.battle.net forums. Please contact one of the the forum admins woth your request to retrieve your account details. they will also have access to account records for the classic games and should be able to assist you in searching for the account.

Account and technical Support.|||Well first off you posted in the wrong forum then, this is the gameplay forum and he linked the general discussion forum. But even there it's doubtful a blue would respond to your post. Pretty sure you'll want the Tech Support forums.

Yes accounts can be hacked, but that's due to the fault of the account owner. If the Blizzard servers themselves were hacked, Blizz would have to legally report this to their gamers (like Sony did). And no, it hasn't been hacked.
Yeah, you'll probably spout out some conspiracy/tinfoilhat nonsense now. Enjoy!
|||Dude. You got scammed. You copy/paste 2 e-mails from a "staff member" of blizzard that are obviously fake.
That guy stole your account.
Blizzard would never point to this forum. Only to technical support maybe. But it doesnt look right.
Did the staff member ask for your password?
