Nightmare, normal, hell choosing

Hi! My question is, how can i go to a normal or nightmare game if im on nightmare or hell dificulty? I mean join other games (battle.net), not create 1 lol. For an example, im level 80 in hell, and i wana see the normal games on the join game list. is there anyway to do this?|||not realy.
only way is to log out, log on with a low level character. look at the games list. write down the game you want to join. and log your higher level on again to join it.

Create a SOJ with the cube ???

Did any one have try to use this formula in the cubes: 6 perfect skulls + another ring ??
Exemple naglering ilvl = 7 * .4 = 2.8 and my barbarian is level 70 * .4 = 28, total = 30.7 did you think it can have good chance to cube a Stone of Jordan ?|||The formula is:
6 Perfect Skulls + 1 Rare Item = 1 Random Low Quality Rare Item of the same type
It will re-rolls the stats of a Rare item (yellow color), not a Unique item (gold color).|||I understand it is possible to add one socket to a unique item with 3 perfect skull & a stone of jordan.
A unique item is not a rare also in that case ? (6 skull + rare)

Razortail

The unique belt "razortail" lists a mod of "Piercing Attack (33)" on Arreat Summit. Does this mean it conveys a 33% chance of piercing? I'm playing a bowazon, and I'm trying to figure out how much skill-based pierce is needed to achieve 100% piercing attack, if I use razortail. Thanks.|||As Arreat Summit states Razortail adds 33% to your chance of Piercing a target. So to achieve 100% Pierce you would need 67+% more from other items or the skill Pierce itself.
With the skill alone this has to be at least level 9, so you get 69% + 33% = 102%.

SoJ Counter & Game Freeze

Hey all,
I've had this happen three times now:
I'm playing a normal, passworded private MF game and the SoJ sales counter appears. After that, it takes about 30 seconds and the game freezes and I get c/i. Before the counter's appearance, the game works normally with no connection problems.
After the c/i, my character can't join or make games for about 5 minutes. My other characters can create/join, though.
Why does this freeze occur?
|||the same exact thing just happened to me, kind of frustrating|||Your character is probably still recognized by battle.net as being in a game, which is why you can't rejoin. I'm not sure about the SoJ counter, but it may be a side effect of battle.net's hotfix to reduce the mass rollback problems that happened after the reset. Perhaps the mass activity of 40,000 duped Stones of Jordan being sold by some idiot item site is enough to cause connections to be interrupted.|||Thanks for the replies!
It happened again, this time I hit the Clone in my MF game... Diablo walks the earth! But...
I get c/i, and Join Failed with other characters. I was like "Whoo, Anni for me!"
If there's some sort of exploit going around (among the zillions of others), I'd appreciate if there's anything Blizz could do about it. This is annoying and frustrating.
I don't think that the SoJ counter is there to make the game crash.

Game not fun because of cheaters

I've been a diablo fan for a long time, but I have never been a cheater. At this point, though, it seems like there are few if any legitimate players left. 99% of baal games are run by bots that automatically pick up the loot, dupes run rampant, and half the people probably buy items from websites. It's impossible to compete in the economy because you're expected to have a bot to grant you wealth.
So, where are all the legitimate players? The ones that hate cheating? Is there a secret clan channel? Or am I supposed to stoop down to downloading a bot too?|||Man, botting would just take the fun out of it for me. And I'd have to have a cookie cutter hammerdin like everyone else.|||Even cooler, I just got dc'd right before a boss died. Guess someone didn't want to share the loot. Normally I'd say coincidence if it didn't happen more than a few times.

I don't have a bot. I don't use any of the hacks. (I played Median a bit.)
On the other hand, my character sucks. My problem is I can't find anyone willing to play non-baal, non-grush, non-rush, non-reward-quests.
Day 1 ladder is the only fun time where you can get 7 people cooperating, questing, having fun. Oh, and no moochers mooching.
